Refund and Returns Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made through UNFO-MED.COM, the official website for UNFO corrective baby footwear developed by Dr. Izak Daizade.

By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Product Nature & Measurement Requirement

  1. UNFO shoes are medical-grade corrective footwear designed to treat pigeon-toed deformity / forefoot adduction in infants up to 9 months of age.

  2. UNFO shoes are available in two standard sizes, based on foot length measured in centimeters.

  3. Parents are required to measure their baby’s foot before placing an order, following our measurement guide.

  4. If you need assistance measuring your baby’s foot, you may email us a photo of the foot with a ruler placed directly against the sole, and our team will help determine the correct size.

2. Cancellation Before Shipment

2.1. Orders may be canceled only if the product has not yet shipped.
2.2. Cancellation requests must be submitted to: [email protected]
2.3. Refunds for unshipped orders will be issued within up to 30 business days to the original payment method.
2.4. All order cancellations are subject to a 5% processing fee, deducted from the refund amount, to cover non-refundable payment-processing costs charged by the payment provider.

3. Cancellation After Shipment – No Returns, No Refunds

Because UNFO is a medical-grade orthopedic device intended to influence a baby’s foot alignment, strict hygiene and safety standards apply.

3.1. Once an order has shipped, all sales become final.
3.2. No cancellations, returns, exchanges, or refunds are permitted after shipment, regardless of whether the package has been opened or used.
3.3. This policy exists because medical corrective footwear cannot be resold, sanitized, or reused once dispatched.
3.4. Customers are responsible for ensuring the correct size before purchasing. Assistance is available upon request prior to checkout.

4. Non-Refundable Situations (Summary)

For clarity, the following do not qualify for refunds or returns:

  • The order has already shipped

  • Opened or unsealed packages

  • Shoes tried on the baby

  • Wrong size chosen due to incorrect or missing measurement

  • Change of mind after purchase

  • Delayed or discontinued treatment

  • Items showing any signs of wear, bending, stretching, moisture, dirt, or damage

  • Packages refused, unclaimed, or delayed due to customs or courier issues

5. Warranty & Manufacturing Defects

5.1. UNFO MED provides warranty coverage only for confirmed manufacturing defects.
5.2. The warranty does not cover sizing errors, incorrect usage, improper handling, or failure to follow instructions.
5.3. If a manufacturing defect is verified, a replacement product will be sent at no additional cost.

Support response time is typically 2–5 business days.

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within:

  • Up to 30 business days for cancellations before shipment

  • 7–10 business days after confirmation for eligible warranty refunds

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method.
